Its 18 holes of American style had, from the beginning, ample fairways and enormous tees. The length of fairways makes unnecessary the presence of roughs, which are only allowed to grow when the course is being prepared for great championships. Its greens, of bent-cross grass give a speed to the ball and a needed precision to the shots, which makes it a pleasure to play. Its fairways are challenging but their perfectly designed dog-legs and the strategic positioning of water hazards that make it complicated even for the most experienced player, In 1988, Emilio Serra and son designed and constructed 9 additional holes that combined with the 18 original ones, allow to have three routes of 18 holes.
